First Legislative Deadline on March 8

Friday, March 8 was the first of two major legislative deadlines, called "funnels."  Bills had to make it out of their assigned committees by the end of the day on March 8 in order to stay alive for the rest of session. Of the nearly 1,800 bills introduced to date, most failed to make the cut.  You can see all the bills that did (and didn't) make it in our bill tracker here.

You can see the bills that made it in the default ("active") list.  Just change it to "inactive" and you'll get the list of bills that didn't make it out of committee, and are therefore dead.
