Interested in advocating for jobs and employment? Iowa APSE (Association of People Supporting Employment First) is hosting its 2nd annual Day on the Hill at the State Capitol on Wednesday, January 30th, 2019.

It all starts with an Advocacy Training w/the DD Council's Rik Shannon (11-11:45 a.m.) where you'll learn how to speak to your elected officials while enjoying lunch. Location: Iowa Vocational Rehabilitation—510 E. 12th., Des Moines IA 50319

The lunch training is followed by a Legislative Reception at the Iowa Capitol Building (12-2:00 p.m.) where you can share stories and talk to your elected officials about the importance of Employment 1st in Iowa.
