Have you heard the saying "all politics is local"?  Those famous words from former Speaker of the House Tip O'Neill are just as true today as they were in the 1980s when he said it.  It means that elected officials are most influenced by the advocacy of those back home in their districts, more so than special interests in Washington DC or by lobbyists at the State Capitol.

So get local in your advocacy!  Town hall meetings, community conversations, input sessions, and candidate meet-and-greets are great places to advocate.  Our calendar can help you find a meeting near you!  Check back often as we don't often get a lot of notice before a meeting is announced, and we only show you what's on the list for the next three weeks.
